About

I'm Charlie Krohn — a photographer based in Australia with close to a decade behind the camera. My work centres on macro insect photography and birds, with a particular focus on iridescent beetles and the birds of Bali.

I shoot on Nikon — a D850, D7200, and Z8 — and spend most of my time in the field chasing species that most people walk straight past. The iridescence of a Eupholus under the right light. A bird mid-flight. Details that stop you cold if you know where to look.
